How To Find Your Way To Healthy Longevity

As the old saying goes, are you "a picture of health"? You may have a problem answering this question, but it's important to know just where you stand on this issue. I guess we all would like to be the healthiest person we can be but it's not always possible. It seems like we were never worried as much about our health when we were younger.

Of course it does seem that it is more in the news today than ever before. It's great that it is because depending on how healthy you are has a lot to with how well you perform. If you have not already done so, it is probably time to get real serious about your health now. If you are among those who have not taken good care of yourself in the past then it is probably wise to start doing that now.

For those considered the "sickly ones " You may not be able to correct the illnesses you have right now but you sure can start becoming more conscious about your health and try to prevent further illnesses. So how do you learn proper ways to take care of yourself today? I am sorry to say I am not a "traditional doctor" fan so I would not rely too much on their advice.

It's reported by many recognized authorities that they and the drug industry cause some of the greatest health problems today. I learned a lot about this particular issue a year and a half ago when my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer. Lucky for me and her, that about that time I found a site on the Internet about a book entitled "Cure Your Cancer" I bought the book and later on even got to talk to the author by phone.

The information in the book and the conversation with him was very inspiring. I learned a lot from him about "naturopathic doctors" and how they have the better answers for protecting and revitalizing your health. Since then I have become more informed about what foods are best to eat and which ones are not. In addition to that I have learned so much more about nutritional supplements and the proper ones to take for whatever health problem you may have.

I have not totally convinced my wife about all of this yet but she is beginning to believe more now than she did before. We both are practicing a more healthy routine. She has had her cancer surgery and radiation treatments and her prognosis looks good. If she will follow at least some of the recommendations of the naturopathic doctor, I am sure her odds for preventing cancer in the future will be much better.

As I continually surf the net about healthcare. I am constantly finding out the "shocking truth" about what is happening in the drug industry and the medical profession regarding our health. If you are truly concerned about your health, I appeal to you to get the "real truth about conventional medicine" and start becoming more concerned and inquisitive about it.

A good place to start is to take a look at the website of Dr. Mercola. Even subscribe to his newsletter. (It's FREE) I guarantee you will get the shock of your life when you read it. You may be surprised that some of your illnesses can be either cured or at least treated in a more professional and much healthier way. Here is Dr Mercola's website. Go to http://www.mercola.com

Here is another source of information. I subscribe to another FREE newsletter also it's at: http://www.hsibaltimore.com/hsiindex.shtml If after looking at this site and Dr. Mercola's website you become more interested about your health, there is even much more information on the Internet to see.

Search for "naturopathic medicine" and see how much more you will find. You will begin to see how a much greater percentage of people today are getting thoroughly frustrated and suspicious about the medical profession and the drug industry. For now good luck and good health to you.
